Double Flap Card - Sunshine SU blog hop

 This is the 2022-2023 In Color Sunshine SU Demos Blog Hop

For this card I will be using the  New Sun Prints Designer Paper.  That uses our new in color Starry sky.  Check below for some other cards with more of our new in colors. This card has a big punch that in not only easy to build, but does not use that much material. 

You will need a label that is not much bigger than a 2 by 1 1/4 inch. Your added die cut pieces or fussy cut pieces should not be larger than a 21/2 long by 1 1/2 wide.  Small die cut pieces are better for this project. I did use decorative dots, but decorative butterflies or stars, hearts can work easily. Please refer to images for dimensions and pieces of card-stock and designer paper. You only need a 1/2 a sheet of card-stock for the base card which will be a 41/2 by 11. Then score  the 11 inch side at 2 3/4 and 8 1/4.  This will allow for a 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 center section.

A twist on a Peekaboo card

 So here you will see my live for this new style card. I made a few gaffs, but wanted you all to see the different options you might be interested in. It’s basically opening the center of your card and using a good background to display. I mostly used the New Horizons designer paper the Flowering Tulip stamp set and Tulips Dies. I also used the birds from the waves dies.

Easy press card not that hard at all. You will have a 4 by 51/2 card at the end, but honestly it is big enough no need for the 41/4 base. Check the video out and enjoy. If you see anything you like. please like my video.

Tea boutique suite- Sweet Songbird

 Just so thrilled with these tea pouch  treat box.  It’s a 21/2 by 11 scored at 41/2 and 61/2.  The sides are dsp 3 by 3 scored every quarter inch. The tear in tape is 23/4 long cut in half lengthwise. Punches, dies are used for the rest. Check out last weeks blog for the card.   https://youtu.be/prsrBV7JVbE
