It’s all about creating different sized bags

I attended the Stampin Up Creativity now workshop and on my page I show the cards and bag that were made along with all the possible sizes for the bag. From a small bag to a 9 by 10 bag!!!! Whenever making the bag you will need two sheets of dsp cut exactly the same and scored exactly the same. The small score overlaps half of the larger scoreline on the sides. The flaps are made by simply cutting up from the bottom to the horizontal scoreline. It’s really a fairly easy bag. Any questions just ask and comment on my live. 

If using a die to cut out the hole. Cut out from the side that will not be the front of the bag. Also if you put them together you can cut both sheets at the same time. Just make sure they are lined up and washy tape the piece down.

 Below you will find the card that was made followed by the inspiration for this card and a few pictures of needed materials.materials used were flowering tulips bundle , splendid stems dies and flowering fields. The flower is adhered to the note card and just overlaps the bottom top edge of the pocket.  See last picture for how I adhered the flower top part only. 

 

Here is the backside stand 2 1/2 by 5 1/4 - 2 1/2 scored at  1 1/ 4 

       

Here the base card measurements are given.  

       

Here are all the pieces to build the card. Besides base card ; you will need cardstock 3 1/4 by 4 1/2 goes with dsp 3 1/2 by 4 3/4. You only need one of each, I chose to do 2 of the larger pieces of dsp  1 3/4 by 5 1/4 the larger is  2 1/4 by 5 1/4 (1 or 2 pieces) half circle 2 inch to 21/2 inch circle cut in half or die from from splendid thoughts  

   

      

        

In the video I did not like the smaller piece on the inside …. Sooo I added and changed it as well as how I adhered the bottom flower. Using dimensionals I added it to the card insert so it overlaps the bottom of the lower flap.

Inside of card above , not sure I am going to keep this idea, might just add a smaller piece of white cardstock and remove the circle and add bubbles all around to peek through the edges. 

Double Flap Card - Sunshine SU blog hop

 This is the 2022-2023 In Color Sunshine SU Demos Blog Hop

For this card I will be using the  New Sun Prints Designer Paper.  That uses our new in color Starry sky.  Check below for some other cards with more of our new in colors. This card has a big punch that in not only easy to build, but does not use that much material. 

You will need a label that is not much bigger than a 2 by 1 1/4 inch. Your added die cut pieces or fussy cut pieces should not be larger than a 21/2 long by 1 1/2 wide.  Small die cut pieces are better for this project. I did use decorative dots, but decorative butterflies or stars, hearts can work easily. Please refer to images for dimensions and pieces of card-stock and designer paper. You only need a 1/2 a sheet of card-stock for the base card which will be a 41/2 by 11. Then score  the 11 inch side at 2 3/4 and 8 1/4.  This will allow for a 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 center section.
